ACHIEVEMENTS

  • The first Bulgarian to successfully complete the SEVEN SUMMITS project (climbing the highest mountains of each of the seven continents).

  • The only Bulgarian to ascend Mount Everest from the North as well as the South ridge.

  • Bulgaria’s fastest ascent of two summits over eight thousand meters – Everest and Lhotse in 5 days and 11 hours in 2017.

  • World’s fastest ascent of Mount Makalu, 8481м, the whole expedition took 94 hours (world record for the shortest expedition at Mount Makalu with only one night spent at base camp). This record has been beaten later on.

  • The first vegan to successfully complete the SEVEN SUMMITS project (climbing the highest mountains of each of the seven continents).

  • The first vegan in the world to ascend a summit over 8000 meters without the aid of Sherpa and supplemental oxygen.

  • Golden Bulgaria Award: Athlete of month of May 2014 for climbing Mount Everest.

  • Golden Bulgaria Award: Athlete of month of May 2018 for climbing Mount Cho Oyu.
